Dear Martin:

Appreciate you showing up for the hearing, & all your help.

I think the "judge" (actually a prosecutor pretending to be a judge) made it clear that I was not going to get anything I needed to defend myself at trial. Want to bet the attorney does? I know I have the right to everything I asked for as I've seen the public defenders get it for their clients in here. Things such as speedy trial, transcripts, depositions, records, witnesses, etc. All the things I was denied.

Guess the prosecutor (Cooper) was thought I was stupid enough to plead guilty to a felony, or go to trial with no help whatsoever. Either way, he would win. He should have agreed to the misdemeanors, like the judge offered me. Now he's going to lose it all & I'll have even better grounds for a malicious prosecution suit against him. Have heard nothing as yet about an attorney. If Cooper thinks I'll go for two misdemeanors now, he's stupider than I thought. Have applied directly to a public defender in Springfield who has a good reputation & already thinks this prosecutor down here is an asshole.

The problem with applying for a change of venue is that without prior approval of the judge, I could get stuck anywhere (like the swamp in Barry County). Since the judge dismissed the weapons charges, I sent him a request to use the over 40,000 bucks worth of property stolen from The Church by the cops to secure bail. If I get bailed out, I'll see if the attorney can get my case moved to Springfield, especially if my attorney is there.

I've been over 26 months now, not 18 as you said in your 23 Aug. letter. 29 June 94 is when I was attacked & falsely imprisoned. Since the judge was ready to turn me loose Monday on time served, it's ridiculous that he would not release me on OR. [Own Recognizance] He obviously thinks I've served enough time. I did get notice that my habeas has been filed in the state supreme court, so maybe they will turn me loose this time.

You should note that I'm a Christian Israelite pastor & Nazarite, not an "Identity" pastor. I rescinded my ordination as such over 10 years ago due to disputes with the parent church over the issue of God's Law.

Also: Annie is not my common-law wife, she is my wife under God's Law, that is if I ever see her again. She has disappeared due to the persecution. The rumor is that there is now a felony warrant out for her arrest for unlawful use of a weapon due to her running off the 4 cops who tried to arrest her on the FTA on the phony traffic ticket. She is also "charged" with resisting arrest.

Sheriff finally took me to the "Dr." on Friday. Dr. told him to get the vitamins & herbal remedies I need. Also said more sun would help clear up my skin disease. I've lost 25 pounds so far this year, & will probably lose more if they don't improve my diet. Took me out Saturday to pick up trash along the road. Almost passed out several times. That 5 hours almost killed me. I feel like I've been run over by a truck.

Was on KFAY-AM talk radio from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday. Dan Ivy interviewed me by phone & we got a lot of info out to the public. Mary Lou said she may be able to get me on a few radio programs also. Ivy said the radio show has about 70,000 listeners, including a couple thousand in McDonald County.

5 class C felonies have now been dismissed. Only 2 class D felonies remaining, the time for which I've already served.

Did you notice the judge putting his hand over the mike? I caught him at it a couple times. He obviously did not want certain things recorded. I wasn't thinking clear enough to realize what he was doing. He never did answer me as to what he thinks I did to delay the trial. He didn't answer a lot of things, just summarily dismissed/refused them.

Again, thanks for all your help.
