Recently, I reviewed a declaration of candidacy that you filed in seeking the position of Associate Circuit Judge for Newton County. Also, I have information that you are not licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri. Please be advised that making a false statement to the election authority may be a class 1 election offense. Such an offense carries a potential penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a fine of not less than $2,500 but not more than $10,000. You may want to consult legal counsel in this matter before making a decision to pursue your candidacy.
