Letter of Correction to Editor, Jewplin Glob

. . . . Wednesday's Jewplin Glob had a listing of top area campaign contributors to the various PACS of the Republican Party. The source was 'Center for Responsible Politics.' It claimed that Martin Lindstedt of Granby Missouri had donated $200 to the Republican State Committee.

. . . . I'm the same Martin 'Mad Dog' Lindstedt who is suing Matt 'Runt' Blunt in federal district court for denying me my nickname and refusing to allow publication of my web page on the official Candidates Listing. And I just filed another complaint to the Missouri 'Ethics' Commission for RuntBlunt's spending $48,000 of taxpayer money on the 'get out the vote' federal program on jewspaper ads with his name and face on it for the primary [s]election.

. . . . So am I off my feed? Is there a Klan equivalent to the homosexual activist Log Cabin Republicans? No to both. The $200 check I paid to the Republican State Committee was for my filing fee to run for governor. In Missouri, a candidate for a primary election has to pay the political party to have his name on the party ballot. I'd rather chew off a testicle than give these corrupt clowns a penny voluntarily. They don't like me either, but must accept my filing fee.

. . . . In fact, I sued the Missouri Libertarian Party in federal district court in 1996, because they refused to refund my $200 filing fee as an indigent. The case, Lindstedt v. Missouri Libertarian Party, 160 F3d 1197-1199, undid in the 8th U.S. Circuit the 1974 Lubin v. Panish Supreme Court decision which allowed poor candidates to run for public office.
