Purpose and Dedication: This electronic and limited print newsletter is dedicated to the modern militiamen and women of the American Resistance Movement. The writers, editors, and contributors of this newsletter have by their talents became leading actors within the overall Patriot movement, be they militiamen, common-law jurists, tax-protesters, Freemen, shortwave talk-show hosts, Libertarians, Conspiracy Theorists or other assorted Rebels with a cause. We are an unruly bunch.
Most of the feeds and articles to this newsletter come off the Internet or electronic mail, which is the Gutenburg device of choice. Far-flung, quick, cheap, and secure, the Internet is a growing web of information which cannot be stopped or effectively censored. While at least one copy of each issue will be printed in order to take advantage of 1st Amendment press protections, thus blanketing the electronic edition, this and every issue is designed to be pulled apart and redesigned for every region, for every portion of the former Sweet Land of Liberty, to be used by Patriots everywhere. The opinions expressed in this newsletter are the opinions only of the authors, nobody else. The result should be freedom, not peace.
This is the EIGHTH issue. This issue is dedicated to the victims of government on April 19, 1993 and April 19, 1995.

About This Issue:April 19th of every year is an important day for the Patriot Movement. This day has been associated with the fight against government tyranny since the "Shot Heard Around the World" at Concord and Lexington Massachusetts on April 19, 1775. It was this battle started by the police forces of the day in an attempt to disarm the population which started the American Revolutionary War.
History will record that the fight for freedom culminating in civil warfare and the destruction of the current federal regime began with the murder of the Branch Davidians on April 19, 1993. The Oklahoma City bombing, on April 19, 1995 is improperly called the counterstroke against the Evil Empire because it really involved no such thing, as the regime has set up some Manchurian Oswald named Timothy McVeigh to take the fall for the planting of demolition charges upon the building supports. While the Clinton regime got a shot in the arm as a result of this American Reichstag, the end result was further erosion of the legitimacy of the criminal regime and the knowledge that no peace between Resistance and regime is possible.
The makeup of this Modern Militiaman #8 -- April 19, 1998 issue is to look back on Resistance history and remember the victims of the regime on past April 19ths. Later on, further back in Issue #8, Resistance business on Modern Militiaman is conducted as usual.
As Managing Editor, I have written an article concerning the past, present, and future of the Resistance on April 19ths of each year. Later on, I posit that a new political organization, the Resistance Political Front, must be formed as an arm of the Resistance for the gaining of political objectives and to work with the Resistance Action Force cells.
The other authors have similar distinguished credentials as Resistance effectives. Senior Roving Editor Patricia Neill has been with Modern Militiaman since the very first issue. She shows us that the difference in Chinese tanks crushing dissent and u.S.A. tanks crusing dissent is one of perception. Later on, she defines the value of anarchy.
Gary Hunt, a seasoned Resistance veteran around since before Waco, raises a question as to the will of the LORD. Carol Valentine, Curator of the Waco Holocaust Museam and a moral absolutist extraordinnaire, brings up a question of hypocrisy in the holocaust remembrance business. JJ Johnson, one of the more intelligent of the former militia leaders, reminds us that April 21, 1995 was the beginning of scapegoating the Resistance by the criminal regime.
The Old Curmudgeon, Mike Kemp, still a militiaman and a former political prisoner tells us how to deal with FiBbIes and media. L. Neil Smith, a Real Libertarian, hence in trouble with the so-called Libertarian bureaucracy, tells anybody of strong principles how to fight and prevail when engaged in moral and political warfare. Betsy Ross tells us why she will never pay income taxes to the criminal regime. Claire Wolfe tells us how to drive Moreass the Sleezester, regime gungoons and the media more goofy than it already is by letting them chase their tails and mythical militiamen.
Return Fire! -- Letters to the Editor contains letters or praise and outrage concerning this issue. No mercy is asked -- or granted -- for this lively display. And a new feature makes its way to Modern Militiaman. Command Decision poses a political and moral dilemma which must be faced by future Resistance Commanders. The "answer" shall be posted in the next issue.
Enjoy! Or Not!!
